About This Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intermediate WordPress Developer to join our remote team. This role focuses on custom WordPress builds, theme development, plugin integration, and performance optimisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO best practices and a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, strategists, and senior developers to ensure seamless project execution and contribute to maintaining the high standards Junctn is known for.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of WordPress development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Strong understanding of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and custom post types.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Implement custom post types, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and REST API integrations.
  • Ensure performance optimisation and SEO best practices across all builds.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
  • Integrate and manage WooCommerce for e-commerce projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing WordPress sites.
  • Stay up to date with the latest WordPress developments and best practices.

Working Conditions

  • Fully remote role.
