About This Position

We are looking for a proactive and personable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the growth of Junctn by identifying new business opportunities. This is a fully remote, entry-level to mid-level position, ideal for someone who is confident, digitally savvy, and eager to build a career in the business side of the creative and technology industries.

In this role, you will play a key part in our outreach strategy—sourcing leads, making first contact with potential clients, and booking discovery meetings for our core team. You’ll use a mix of tools, platforms, and smart communication to connect with founders, marketing leaders, and innovation teams across the globe.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A natural communicator with a persuasive, friendly, and professional tone.
  • An interest in the digital, creative, or technology industries.
  • Experience with outbound sales, cold outreach, or lead generation (advantageous but not essential).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, email automation tools, CRM systems, and general online research techniques.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills for outbound messaging.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and curiosity to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business leads through online platforms, directories, and internal databases.
  • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads based on Junctn’s service offerings and client fit.
  • Book meetings for Junctn’s strategy and partnerships team, ensuring prospects are properly briefed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and targeting.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and lead status within our CRM.
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and client needs to identify relevant opportunities.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and reporting check-ins.

Working Conditions

  • Fully remote position with optional in-person meetups in Cape Town.
  • Core business hours aligned with the South African and UK markets.
  • Base salary with commission or performance-based incentives.
